Comments, votes and reports
When you post a comment, your chosen name, comment, reply relationships, date and vote totals are displayed publicly. The optional email field is kept private and is not included in the public comments response. Do not put personal or sensitive information in your public name or comment.
Game and comment votes use an anonymous browser identifier to support switching or cancelling a vote. The application stores a keyed representation of this identifier with the vote. Private problem reports include the selected problem type, your details and a timestamp and are visible to the administrator.
Browser storage and event counts
This site stores theme preferences, favourites and a random player identifier in your browser. It records anonymous event counts such as page views, Play clicks, official-game link clicks and iframe document loads. The application event table does not store IP addresses, account names or session identifiers. A click or iframe load does not prove that someone played a game.
External game services
DirtBound opens on its official website. The other games load third-party itch.io-hosted players after you click Play. Those providers receive the requests your browser sends to them and may use their own storage or network services. Their privacy policies and account practices apply to their services. We do not receive your official-game Google sign-in credentials.
Google Analytics 4
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand page visits and game-link interactions. The Google tag sends analytics requests to Google and may use cookies or similar browser storage. For information about Google's data practices, see the Google Privacy Policy.
Advertising
Public pages load a third-party advertising script from bauval.org. Advertising providers may receive technical request information and use cookies, browser storage or similar technologies to deliver advertising. Advertisements and their destination websites are third-party content.
Hosting, fonts and administration
The site uses Cloudflare Pages, D1 and R2 for hosting, application data and images. Cloudflare may process network information to deliver and protect these services. Google Fonts may receive font requests from your browser. An HttpOnly session cookie is used for administrator sign-in. Google Analytics 4 is enabled as described above.
Retention and requests
Comments, votes and reports remain until removed through site administration; operational backups can retain a prior copy. Contact us with the relevant page and comment details to request correction or deletion. You can clear browser storage to remove local favourites and theme preferences. See Terms and Contact.
