Keep the car on the road

Drift, by DVRK Studios, is a top-down drifting game with an automatically accelerating car. Your job is to steer. Stay off the road for too long and the car spins out, restarting the run. That simple objective makes each turn a quick test of how early you read the road and how smoothly you correct your direction.

A focused driving challenge

Because acceleration is automatic, the important decisions are where to turn and when to ease the steering input. Watch the road ahead instead of reacting only when the car reaches an edge. Aim first to stay on the track; a controlled recovery is more useful than an abrupt correction that sends the car off the opposite side.

The author provides an HTML5 browser version on itch.io. Use the game's own start screen for its current controls and settings. This listing is intended for desktop keyboard play; touch compatibility has not been confirmed.

How to play Drift

1. Click Play to load the creator's browser version, then use the in-game start screen.
2. The car accelerates automatically. Use the steering controls shown in the game to follow the road.
3. Avoid spending too long off the road: a spin-out restarts the run.
4. For a larger view, use Full screen; Exit full screen returns you to this page.
